SIA is SelfDrive’s smart AI Assistent. It helps you book a car quickly by guiding you step by step. You can ask SIA anything, and it will show you car options, prices, and booking details.

SIA supports 40+ languages, including English, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin, Malayalam, Russian, Tamil, Marathi, and Bengali, making it one of the most inclusive mobility assistants available.

You must be 23 years or older to rent a car. Some premium cars may require you to be 23 or 25 years old.

Booking a car is very simple. Open the SelfDrive app or website. Choose your city and rental date. Select the car you like. Upload your documents (ID, license, etc.). Make the payment. Get the car delivered or pick it up from the location.

Yes. There is a small extra fee to add another driver. The extra driver must also submit their ID and driving license.

Yes. Home delivery and pick-up are available in most areas. Additional charges may apply depending on the distance.

If you cancel before the booking starts, you can get a refund based on the terms shown at booking. If the booking has already started, cancellation charges may apply. Some bookings are non-refundable.

Yes. There is a small grace period. If you return the car after the grace period, extra charges will apply for late return.

Micro Lease

  • You keep the car for 1 to 24 months.
  • You pay a fixed monthly price.
  • It is like a small lease for a short time.

Car Subscription

  • You use the car month-to-month.
  • You can change the car every month if you want.
  • No long commitment.
  • Very flexible.

Simple difference: Micro Lease = keep the car for a set number of months. Car Subscription = change or stop anytime month-to-month.

Yes, you can. You can pick up the car in one city and return it in another city. But there may be an extra fee for a one-way return. This depends on the location and the car you choose.

Usually 3–6 hours if the car is available. In some cases, delivery may take up to 24 hours. You’ll be notified of the exact time.

NEOS is a monthly car subscription plan for brand-new or nearly new cars. You pay month-to-month, keep the car as long as you want, and cancel anytime. Maintenance and support are included.

Yes, you can. NEOS allows you to upgrade or change your car every year if you want. You just need to follow the plan rules and choose the new model you like.

Lease Pro is a long-term car lease plan that runs for 12 to 60 months. It is made for people or companies who need a car for a longer time and want a fixed monthly price. The plan includes everything, such as maintenance, registration, insurance, roadside help, and even a replacement car if needed. It works like a simple and convenient full-service lease with easy paperwork.

Yes. SelfDrive requires a security deposit, which is only held on your account and not deducted. It is used solely for fines, tolls, or any additional charges, and is fully released once all costs are settled.

Yes. Both debit and credit cards are accepted, provided the bank allows online payments and pre-authorization.

No, cash payments are not allowed. SelfDrive only accepts card payments for bookings and deposits. This is for safety and easier refund processing.

You do not need to buy a Salik tag. All SelfDrive cars have a Salik tag. Charges are recorded automatically and billed to your card later.

Yes. All rentals include standard insurance.

If there’s an accident or damage, you must get a police report. Without a police report, insurance won’t cover the damage.

Yes, SelfDrive offers optional extra coverage called SD Protect / Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW). This extra cover reduces or removes the “insurance excess” (the amount you’d pay yourself if there’s damage).

Note:The credit/debit card must be in the renter's name. If the booking is for someone else, the cardholder must be present to sign or provide a signed authorization letter.

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a car.

Yes, every car has a limit on how much you can drive:
  • Daily/weekly rentals: 200-250 km/day
  • Monthly rentals: 3000 km/month
  • Airport rentals: 250 km/day

Extra kilometers are charged separately.

Yes, you can drive to other Emirates. Just make sure to follow all traffic rules and respect the mileage limit.

Fuel Policy

Yes, return the car with the same fuel level. If it’s less, you will have to pay for the missing fuel plus a small service fee with VAT.

  • If you cancel before delivery, 10% of the total invoice is charged.
  • If you cancel after the car is delivered, no refund.
  • If SelfDrive cancels your booking due to missing documents, 10% is charged.

There is no free grace period. If you return the car late, you must pay a late fee. The amount depends on the type of car.

No, if you return the car early, refunds are not possible.

If you get a fine, you are responsible for paying it. SelfDrive may also charge a small admin fee to process it.

Check the car carefully before driving. If you see any damage, report it to SelfDrive immediately so you won’t be charged for it later.
