How to rent a car at Dubai International Airport Terminal 1.

You must be at least 23 to rent a car in the UAE, 25 in some cases, depending on the car models you are renting.

You must present a valid license held for at least one year.

Residents of the following countries can drive in the UAE without an International Driver's Permit (IDP): Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.

All other customers must present a valid International Driver's Permit with their national driver's licence at the time of rental.
